Liverpool fans are no strangers to play and their newest Champions League exploits abandoned many of them drained.
The Reds have certainly experienced unbelievable highs and lows – from missing out to last years Champions League win on the Premier League title.
On Wednesday night, lovers experienced the complete spectrum of feelings as Liverpool raced into a 3-0 lead over Red Bull Salzburg, were pegged back to 3-3, subsequently found Mohamed Salah grab a winner.
Last season Liverpool fell short of an imperious Manchester City side but it was not for the want of trying.
That they squeezed every last minute from a match, scoring crucial late goals against Crystal Palace and Tottenham to help keep them in the hunt.
This attitude was on Wednesdayand on display , when the was finished by Salzburg, there was the sense that Liverpool would nevertheless discover a way in the end.
We demonstrated character, said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. I was not surprised about that, which is why I wasnt too concerned at 3-3 since I knew wed have opportunities
Liverpool fans are utilised particularly to winning at home and particularly in Europe.
