Monday afternoons meeting in Pontefract was abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
The course survived an review but issued a proviso that some rain could place the assembly in jeopardy.
Regrettably with rain totalling almost five millimetres on Sunday the track would take no more and it had been waterlogged in places.
In total over 129 millimetres has dropped since rain and only September 22 is forecast throughout Monday.
Pontefract has one meeting at 2019, its own season finale on October 21.
The racecourses official Twitter account posted:Following a further 4.5mm rain on Sunday evening falling on saturated soil and with further heavy rain forecast today, racing was abandoned.
