Danny Rose has pledged to have his say his uncertain summer with Tottenham, who made him available for sale.
Rose’s time at Spurs looked to be over after he was left out of the club pre-season tour to Asia so he can”investigate prospective chances with other clubs”, but a movement never materialised.
The 29-year-old has since begun all four of Tottenham’s Premier League games this season and was also handed an England start from the Qualifier from Bulgaria.
Rose is pleased at how things have played out but says that the full truth about his situation have not come out.
“It wasn’t tough, it’s what it is,” he explained. “Not everything that was publicised at the summer was entirely true and I think in the future I’ll have my say about everything that happened but I really don’t wish to focus on negativity at the minute.
“I suppose I should be happy with maybe being up available and having started the first four matches for Tottenham and the first England game of the campaign.
“I can not lie I’m rather pleased, but I only need to say that everything that was composed in the summer was not entirely true.”
Regardless of Spurs’ openness to proceed from Rose doesn’t doubt his skills and he insists his relationship with director.
“I don’t need to prove myself to anyone,” he said. “I have a supervisor at heart level who knows me. You seem at last season, I played with in the quarter-final of this Champions League, semi-finals of this Champions League and I played and that I played at the final.
“So I’ve got a manager there who thinks in me.
“Then in the event you look at international I’ve got a supervisor that whenever I have been available for selection I’ve already been picked. He totally believes in me and I am quite grateful.
“I’m blessed to have supervisors at club level and global level who think in me.
“I don’t feel I’ve got something to prove to anybody and that I feel like I have done enough over the years to prove my value.
“I obviously simply wish to refund everybody that has shown faith in me and it’s been a wonderful start to the effort and I’m looking forward to what is ahead.”
