Paralympian Ellen Keane on inspiring young swimmer in Australia

A recent trip to Australia proved tearful, emotional and uplifting for Ellen Keane and yet another quite young swimmer…
What exactly happened to this 24-year-old Sky Sports Scholar from Dublin…
I was in Australia recently and a father – that follows me on social media and resides at Sydney – messaged me to determine when Id like to satisfy his daughter with an arm like me.
She is named Gemma, is a swimmer and nine and we planned a surprise.
I led down to Bondi beach with my best friend whos a instructor and we met Gemmas father. She had been at the water and that I cried out to her Ellen Keane was here! . She statedwhat are you referring to? And just looked at me.
I stumbled at Gemma and she started freaking out! Her reaction was overpowering and priceless. It was so cute. My buddy also bawled!
She ran back to the water and obtained her sister and she was freaking out once I began waving in her! I got to talk to Gemma who had been a little quiet to begin with but she told me she is dreaming of moving to the Paralympics.
It was such a beautiful surprise. She told me she loved looking at my photographs and she made jokes about her hand.
I agreed it was fantastic being able to make light on your arm and that I told her that its amazing with something people dont really have.
I feel blessed and blessed to be able meet these cool children such as Gemma and also to do what I do.
