WWE MITB Kickoff Show

The WWE MITB Kickoff Show will begin at 6 PM ET and can be scheduled to have a couple matches. As anticipated, the WWE waited until Wednesday, May 15th, to announce a different game for the Kickoff Show.
Cruiserweight Championship Match
Tony Nese (c)
Ariya Daivari
Tony Nese won the cruiserweight belt in WrestleMania 35 by defeating the long reigning champ Buddy Murphy. He’d offer Murphy a rematch two days later and triumph again. After that match, Nese would defeat his former tag partner Drew Gulak at a non-title match. It demonstrated that Nese was along with his game and prepared to defend the title in the MITB PPV.
Ariya Daivari made his title shot by winning a Fatal Four-Way match and then defeated Oney Lorcan. Daivari is a talented cruiserweight, but that I simply don’t find the WWE taking the belt off Nese so soon. Buddy Murphy was able to bring credibility to the name using a long reign and fantastic matches. Albeit, those matches were on the Kickoff Show of every major event.
With that said, I believe that Nese will win this match. It’ll be a fantastic bout between two talented wrestlers, but the WWE appears to be high on Nese.
WWE Bet: Tony Nese (N/A)
SmackDown Tag Team Title Match
The Usos
Daniel Bryan and Rowan (c)
Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Since last year, Daniel Bryan was the primary star on SmackDown as he held the world title, became the top heel, and placed on solid matches for his entire run. Teaming up with Erik Rowan made matters even more entertaining for Bryan as he had a huge body guard to protect him. Unfortunately, Bryan would lose the world name to Kofi Kingston in WrestleMania 35. Then he missed a few weeks because of an accident only to come back and be handed the SmackDown tag belts with Rowan.
The Usos were moved to RAW during the Superstar Shakeup. However, due to this stupid Wild Card rule, they’ve managed to appear on SmackDown. The Usos would be the former SmackDown tag champs having lost the belts to the Hardys who ended up relinquishing the titles due to Jeff Hardy requiring knee surgery. That is the way the belts were just handed to Bryan and Rowan.
However, the Usos arrived to SmackDown a few weeks ago and objected to Shane McMahon just handing the straps over to Bryan and Rowan and a match was made on SmackDown. Bryan and Rowan would win the match and the belts. The Usos continued to be a thorn in the side of McMahon, so that he made a tag title game between these two teams.
